AGU Team Launches Collaboration Activities in Baku
The Beyond Epicenters consortium continues to strengthen its international research network through new collaborative activities in Azerbaijan.

As part of the Beyond Epicenters project, the AGU Team has officially launched collaborative activities with SETM Limited Liability Company in Baku.
The first meetings focused on evaluating the potential of radon gas anomalies as early earthquake warning indicators, while also advancing WP1 research on Regional Interdependency Metrics for understanding cascading seismic risk.

The Azerbaijan team has started secondment activities in Lisbon through the Horizon Europe MSCA Staff Exchanges project Beyond Epicenters.

The Azerbaijan team from SETM has started its secondment activities at Lusofona University within the framework of the Horizon Europe MSCA Staff Exchanges project Beyond Epicenters. The project develops innovative disaster risk assessment methodologies by integrating economic, social, and infrastructural interdependencies to improve resilience against natural hazards.
During the first days of the secondment, SETM researchers became acquainted with the host institution's research infrastructure, laboratory facilities, and scientific and technical staff, laying the foundation for future collaborative research and knowledge exchange.
This secondment strengthens international collaboration, supports interdisciplinary research, and promotes knowledge exchange among Beyond Epicenters consortium partners.
